Often used to surface answers fast while respecting permissions across systems.
Google Cloud Search: Enterprise search built around Google’s search experience for internal content and apps.
Common in Google Workspace environments where access control and relevance matter.
Elasticsearch: Search and indexing foundation teams use to build secure, customizable enterprise search.
Fits orgs that need deep control over relevance, retention, and access patterns.
Coveo: Relevance-focused enterprise search that’s often used for workplace and customer-facing search. Typically paired with content platforms where personalization and permissions need to coexist.
I’m also sanity-checking “secure search” against basics like identity, SSO, and directory services, because in practice, security usually breaks at the identity layer.
