# What are the best customer success platforms for customer success managers managing everything in one place?

Hi G2 community, I’m researching the best customer success platforms for customer success managers who want to manage accounts, health, tasks, communications, and renewals in one place. The tricky part is separating platforms that truly centralize the day-to-day CS workload from those that still leave CSMs bouncing between systems.

I started with the G2 Grid report for Customer Success and then looked specifically at reviews from customer success managers and closely related roles.

What I’m hoping to find is software that helps CSMs:

see customer context without checking several tools

keep tasks, risks, and follow-ups organized

track health and lifecycle progress

reduce manual account-management work

A few platforms stood out:

ChurnZero: CSMs repeatedly mention having account information, communications, milestones, tasks, and health signals together. One senior CSM specifically described moving away from Salesforce plus spreadsheets and finding it much easier to manage a book of business afterward.

Vitally: Reviews from CSMs point to centralized notes, health scores, reporting, projects, tasks, and account details. One CSM managing more than 70 facilities called out the tasks dashboard as a daily starting point and the centralized setup as especially useful.

Planhat: Customer success users highlight having customer data in one place alongside dashboards, risk scores, tasks, and integrations. A CS manager described it as a “single pane of glass” for daily CS activities, with customizable views that teams can adjust themselves.

Gainsight Customer Success: Reviewers in CS roles mention its Customer 360 view, health scoring, Cockpit, dashboards, and playbooks. The recurring benefit is consolidating scattered customer information and creating a consistent way for CSMs to manage engagement.

For CSMs who’ve used these day to day, which actually replaced the most separate tools? Did centralizing everything make the workflow noticeably simpler, or did setup and customization create a different kind of overhead?

The “everything in one place” promise gets interesting once you look at what CSMs still leave the platform to do. I’d probably test this by following one account through a normal week: health check, task, customer email, renewal update, and internal handoff. The number of times the CSM has to jump back into the CRM or another tool would tell you more than the feature list.
