# What are the best tools for provisioning and scaling cloud resources?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi everyone, I am evaluating cloud management platforms that make it easier to <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/cloud-management-platforms"><strong>provision infrastructure and scale resources as workloads </strong></a>grow or fluctuate. The goal is to avoid manual setup, reduce errors, and handle scaling without constant firefighting, especially across multiple teams and environments.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Some platforms I’ve been looking into:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/google-compute-engine/reviews"><strong>Google Compute Engine</strong></a><strong> </strong>has<strong> </strong>strong native provisioning and autoscaling within GCP.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/azure-arc/reviews"><strong>Azure Arc</strong></a> is interesting for provisioning resources consistently across hybrid environments.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/ubuntu/reviews"><strong>Ubuntu</strong></a> is widely used as a base OS, often paired with automation for scalable workloads.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/flexera-one/reviews"><strong>Flexera One</strong></a> appears to be helpful for governance and visibility, in addition to provisioning.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/doit-cloud-intelligence/reviews"><strong>DoiT Cloud Intelligence</strong></a> focuses more on optimization, but it appears relevant for scaling decisions.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For those managing cloud infrastructure at scale:</p><ul>
<li>Which tools made provisioning faster and more standardized across teams?</li>
<li>How much manual intervention is still required once scaling rules are in place?</li>
<li>Did these platforms integrate smoothly with IaC tools or CI/CD pipelines?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Would love to hear what’s actually working in production.</p>

&lt;p&gt;Have you run into scaling limits, API throttling, or higher costs once provisioning volumes increased?&lt;/p&gt;
