I’ve found tools like Docebo and Uxxcel strike a nice balance between SCORM compliance and engaging content, curious how others handle customization vs. standardization.

SCORM compliance sounds straightforward until you actually try to move content between LMSs. We ran into issues where packages technically worked, but tracking data didn’t sync properly across systems.

One thing I’d look at is how these tools handle SCORM vs xAPI (Tin Can). If you’re investing long-term, xAPI gives you more flexibility for tracking beyond the LMS.

On the migration question, moving SCORM content from legacy to cloud LMS wasn’t as smooth as expected. Most issues came from tracking inconsistencies and version differences (SCORM 1.2 vs 2004).
