The browser interface and preview tools in Bild are really helpful to enable indirect users to access PDM files and keep up to speed with the project without needing to have contributor credentials. The app is effective and with some quick setup can make the user keep up to speed and current on revisions with a couple of clicks. Being a third party PDM, it lacks some of the features that you get with native CAD PDM built-in programs. The renaming folders and files could use some improvement, while preserving metadata. Depending on how the team uses the product, users can often get into a situation where 'getting latest' new files will repeatedly pull HUNDREDS of 'desktop.ini' files, which can get cumbersome on large projects with many users.
