The best way to back up your site in this case is to use one of the many plugins available for backups, that will either send it to the cloud or let you download the files.

If you go to the menu on the lefthand side of the page in the editor, there are a number of different elements you can drag and drop into the screen. I recommend dragging a strip onto the page first and placing your site elements inside the strip. This gives you better control of multiple elements at once and helps enhance your visitors' site experience across different devices. :)

I would recommend using YouTube to try and answer your questions first. Otherwise contact your local college and see if there are any classes available to the public to help. Good luck!
