# Migration from previous marketing tool

Can you please elaborate a quicker and efficient process of migrating data from the previous marketing tool, that we were using, to HubSpot. Though we are in the process of it, but we would like to get it done in a quicker way. Data security and data retention is of utmost importance for us. We cannot afford to miss out on any contact that is in our list.

Hi Divesh! There are a few potential options, but this all depends on what you are migrating from .... does it have an API? I'd love to help troubleshoot but would need a little more information.
