LinkedIn: A website full of business professionals, job-seekers, senior-level executives, fresh graduates, and marketers alike. It’s the perfect place to advertise, don’t you think?
Social media monitoring involves tracking and analyzing social media conversations and brand and product mentions. Discover benefits and best practices.
Most AI tools assist someone to draft something, suggest a response, or surface a report. The decision to act still sits with a person. SOCi's Genius Agents are different: they execute. They are trained on your brand and workflows and as they analyze local signals and performance are able to make optimization decisions and carry out local marketing work that has been pre-approved by your team - without waiting for a human to trigger each step.
There are three Genius Agents: The Local Search Agent: Audits listing health, optimizes Google Business Profile data, publishes Google Posts, and works to improve local SEO and AI search visibility at each location every month. The Social Agent: Builds social content calendars, publishes posts, and manages engagements based on customer signals and local market trends. The Reputation Agent: Responds to reviews across platforms, analyzes customer surveys, and surfaces sentiment and feedback trends.
What distinguishes SOCi’s Genius Agents from typical AI assistants is their combination of local specificity and cross-functional coordination. Each location receives an agent trained on brand guidelines and workflows that specifically focuses on the individual nuances of that market, ensuring every interaction remains authentic. Furthermore, SOCi’s Unified Visibility Engine eliminates siloed operations. Agents share data across functions to create a continuous feedback loop: the Social Agent can leverage insights on local customer preferences to refine content strategies, while the Search Agent uses engagement data from both search and social channels to optimize business profiles. Individual AI tools lack this level of integrated intelligence, failing to connect the loop in the way SOCi’s unified approach does.
SOCi has been helpful for centralizing multi-location marketing in one place, especially for managing social media, online reviews, and business listings while keeping brand consistency. The main challenge is that it can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many tools and customization options, and reporting could be more flexible. For those using SOCi, what helped you onboard new users faster, and how are you handling reporting needs across locations?
I agree that SOCi can feel overwhelming when you're first getting started. There are so many features and it's hard to know where to focus, but it sounds like you're already off to a great start getting comfortable with using the essential tools to help manage social, listings and reviews.
One thing that's helped me a lot is taking advantage of SOCi's support team. They've been great about helping me build custom reports based on exactly what I wanted to track, and they even helped set up automated email reports so the right people get the information they need each week without me having to think about it.
For onboarding, SOCi University has a ton of helpful training resources. On top of that, I've created a library of Loom videos that walk through our specific workflows and processes. That way, new employees can learn exactly how we use SOCi, and I don't have to repeat the same training every time someone joins the team. Between SOCi University and a few company-specific tutorials, the learning curve becomes much more manageable. I hope this helps!

SOCi is a powerful platform, so it's normal for there to be a learning curve when you're getting started. We recommend focusing on the features most relevant to your role first and expanding from there.

I can definitely relate to this. With so many products available in SOCi, it can feel overwhelming at first, especially as a one person marketing team managing multiple communities.
The onboarding process was great, and the SOCi team has always been incredibly supportive. There is also SOCi University, which has been a great resource for learning the platform. ( I hope I used the right name :) ) I can definitely relate to this. With so many products available in SOCi, it can feel overwhelming at first, especially as a one person marketing team managing multiple communities.
For me, the biggest thing was getting organized. I started setting reminders, blocking time on my calendar, and making it a priority to regularly work through my SOCi dashboard. It's still a work in progress, but those small habits have made a huge difference.
I genuinely love the product. It has helped me centralize marketing across all of our locations and has saved me a tremendous amount of time while keeping everything consistent.
Buyers often look for tools that connect audience intelligence to reach modelling, scenario planning, duplication analysis and the ability to build scenarios with intuitive workflows and customisation options that fit different planning needs.
An effective cross-media planning tool should help teams move from audience strategy into practical planning decisions across channels. Buyers often look for the ability to forecast reach holistically, understand duplication and overlap between media types and test planning scenarios before investment is committed.
It is also important that the workflow supports real-world complexity, such as planning across digital and traditional channels, applying audience definitions consistently and incorporating bespoke media or custom channel inputs when needed. The best tools make this process intuitive for planners, without requiring heavy manual stitching across separate systems.
TelmarHelixa is designed around this integrated approach, connecting audience intelligence directly to reach modelling, reach curves and scenario planning so teams can evaluate cross-channel plans in one environment with the flexibility to adapt to different planning needs and data maturity levels.
