There are numerous coding standards for an AA task. Reusability and stability of the code are major ones. The code has to be divided into appropriate sized subtasks. The sub-tasks are to be named based on the operation that they carry out. The master-task should have proper business logic for calling subtasks and well as for checking their completion. Variables are to be given unambiguous names and descriptions should be added while declaring them. If-Else conditions and Loops need to be used to for checking outputs and requirements. Comments are a crucial part of code which help in supporting or editing the bot. Exception handling of the task has to include all possible business and system exception scenarios. The bot also has to meet all the reporting requirements(email alerts/logs). Along with creating the code, meticulous documentation should also be created by the developer which becomes more useful while handover.
