You can download a recording from shared call links if you are a user logged into Gong. If the call recording shared is via a public link you can use the browser inspection tool to download the video. Just search download a video from browser inspection tool to do this. As long as the meeting link and or phone conversation for your conversation with your manager is added to Gong then their recorder will join your meeting AND that meeting link software and or phone conversation is on a software Gong integrates with. In order for the meeting link to be added to Gong you and or your manager need to be a user of Gong and have a calendar sync setup. AND the meeting link needs to be in a calendar invite for the user of Gong. OR you can manually input the meeting link to Gong and set the time of the meeting, so the Gong recorder knows when to join the call. Gong has an excellent video and transcription player. You can watch the video recording of any meeting and see the words spoken get highlighted in real time. The player allows you to minimize the video so you see the full transcript with a mini version of the video in the bottom right of the screen. You can even skip to certain sections of the call by clicking the transcript. I lost almost $140,000, to this unfortunate brokers, there a friend referred me to a recovery firm that got me 90% of my money back, plus my accrued bonuses.
