As a mobile measurement partner (MMP), marketers use Kochava by integrating our software development kit (SDK) into their mobile app to send information on all app installs and in-app events (registration, free trial, purchase, subscription, etc.) to Kochava. The marketer can then utilize their dashboard in Kochava to see reporting, attribution and insights on their app installs and in-app events.
Additionally, marketers leverage Kochava’s footprint of integrated media partners to measure their acquisition and re-engagement campaigns across their omni-channel media mix—providing Kochava with a record of all ad impressions and clicks across campaigns. As Kochava receives these data signals, our attribution engine deciphers which ad campaign, creative, keyword, etc., drove app installs and/or in-app conversions. This gives advertisers a clear, holistic picture of how their campaigns are driving app growth and engagement.
After attribution is awarded Kochava reports that outcome across analytics and reporting, and also sends an immediate data postback to all of the advertiser’s partners to report the conversion outcome. This data postback aids in campaign optimization, network reporting, billing, and other marketing functions.
