Question on: Hornbill Service Manager
What modules has your organization adopted?
What modules have some of the organizations adopted, and do some modules lack in features that are causing issues in their Business Processes (i.e. especially Change Management, Document Management, etc.).
We have implemented Service Manager, Advanced Analytics, and will be implementing ITOM mid-year in 2021
Hi Jibran
We certainly have Change Management and Document Management modules which are extremely feature rich. Customers who have adopted these are not facing any issues of which we are aware.
Our Customer Success team (customer.success@hornbill.com) would be very happy to discuss in further detail. Thank you

Question on: Hornbill Service Manager
Why does search not find what I'm looking for?
Everyone is constantly complaining about search being very difficult to find what you are looking for. It seems there are two types of searched, but which one does what?
Hi Charles,
Like many transactional systems, the search is complex mostly because of the sheer amount of data involved. There are a lot of search options and it depends on what you are looking for and the search terms you are looking for. There is a document here which gives you some more details: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Global_Search_for_Requests
Our community forums are also a great place to ask questions like this, there are many Hornbill people and customers that frequent the community forums who will have relevant experience, and there have been many posts about search features - I would encourage you to check that resource out too: https://community.hornbill.com/
Any finally, we are also in the process of reengineering the underlying infrastructure, there are many reasons for doing this but one of them is a much better over search terms and search results. This is work in progress and likely to be completed this year, as there is quite a lot to do
I hope thats helpful, thank you for the question.
There is a global search option which returns data in an unstructured way (not date or alphabetical order) which can't easily be exported for better analysis.
Using the filters (date, team, etc) you can get much better data in a structured format which you can export.
The global search is useful to quickly search for general info, but when you need precise data the filters are great.

Question on: Freshservice
will you have an on premise solution?
Some clients might want to have FW installed on their own servers, will this be possible in a near future? os that even something that you are looking for?
No Sergio, we are purely a SAAS Application. But the Security concerns of On.Prem Apps are 100% resolved in Freshworks Ecosystem. As we are hosted on AWS with Top notch Security Controls. OnPrem Applications are risky, especially during these times when Cyber Security is a major concern. Look at recent Solarwinds hack on Govt websites, which were running On.prem applications. We should stay away from On.Prem
No, Freshservice is a Saas based application and we don't intend to make it on-premise in the future too.
