Can i send files to other people without letting them edit it?I would like a Read-Only feature where people cannot steal or change my work, but so they can only view it digitally.

Yes, when you your file is open and you click on share in the top right corner, once you choose the person(s) you would like to send it to, click on the pen icon and you can choose between (1) can edit, (2) can comment, (3) can view. Clicking on can view only allows the viewer to see the file, not comment or edit.
