Yes — \*\*Canva Pro\*\* is worth it if you frequently create visuals, need brand consistency, and value time-saving tools. If you only need occasional basic designs, the free version may suffice.

I’ve used Canva Pro and honestly, it’s a huge time saver, especially for quick designs and social media work. The background remover and templates alone make it worth it for me, but I agree the free version is enough for basic use.

Yes Canva Pro is a Game Changer and A big support in my Graphic Design Freelance Journey. The Best Design APP. you could Do any thing on it

Answered: Bhavuk Kathuria on April 13, 2026

In today’s date, Canva Pro is not really worth it for many freelancers. Small businesses often hire junior designers because they cannot afford high charges. Even if someone watches YouTube tutorials and learns basic design guidance, they can work as a designer for a small brand. Canva Pro helps here because its templates make creating good designs easier. Many small creators use Canva Pro to make digital products and sell them on platforms like Etsy, generating decent revenue.

Answered: Benita Jenkins on April 13, 2026

Yes, Canva Pro is definitely worth it. As of 2026, it has evolved from a simple design app into a complete AI-powered workstation. If you create content more than once a week, the time you save pays for the subscription. The newest AI tools are game-changers. Features like Magic Expand (which fixes poorly cropped photos) and Magic Eraser allow you to do professional-level editing in seconds without needing complex software. Brand Kits: This is the biggest time-saver for businesses. You can store your specific logos, fonts, and colors in one place. One-Click Resizing: You can turn a single Instagram post into a LinkedIn banner, a flyer, and a story instantly. Premium Library: You get unlimited access to high-quality stock photos, videos, and graphics. It eliminates the need to pay for separate stock photo subscriptions.

Highly recommend Pro for a heavy user or professionally, it can get a bit pricey as you expand your team. Free will do just fine casually or when you need it.

Question on: AI Video Generator
[What’s the best AI video tool for creating short-form content fast?](/discussions/what-s-the-best-ai-video-tool-for-creating-short-form-content-fast)

We’re a small team looking for the [best AI video generators](https://www.g2.com/categories/ai-video-generators) to help us produce short-form videos for social media and marketing: something that makes video creation fast, easy, and visually striking without needing advanced editing skills or adding extra costs we can’t handle.

We’re hoping to find something that’s:

- Easy to set up and use with a small team
- User-friendly for both creators and non-technical staff
- Flexible enough to grow with our needs
- Able to handle different formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, ads)

Here are a few AI video generators we’ve been researching on G2:

- [HeyGen](https://www.g2.com/products/heygen/reviews): Popular for avatars and voiceovers; how natural does it feel for short, engaging clips?
- [Synthesia](https://www.g2.com/products/synthesia/reviews): Often used for training videos; how well does it adapt to marketing-style short videos?
- [Veed.io](https://www.g2.com/products/veed/reviews): Easy online editor with AI tools; how reliable is it for quick, polished output?

If you’ve worked with any of these (or others), I’d love to hear:

- What made you pick that tool?
- How easy was it to roll out and get your team using it?
- Any wins, challenges, or surprises you’ve run into?

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you’re willing to share!

Does anyone feel like they outgrew Runway or Pictory after scaling up content production? We’re small now, but I’m wondering how much headroom we should plan for.

Answered: Devyani Mehta on August 25, 2025

Definitely some of the best tools available out there!

One of the cons of using HeyGen however is that even with the Avatar IV engine, the facial expressions seem a bit unreal and leave some room for improvement.

On the plus side, the integrations with SORA 2 and the introduction of the video AI agent are superb additions. With the agent mode, I was able to create a 30 sec video for a new offering launch in a minute - a draft one of course. There was some editing required, some refinements but still a cost saving of approx. $10K and turnaround time of 2 days vs 2 weeks (at least in my case).

Alternatively, SORA 2, now available, is also a decent option. However, you need to be a ChatGPT plus subscriber to access.

Success of these tools does depend on your "prompting skills" rather than video editing skills. So, it's a tradeoff in terms of skill investment as well.

Answered: Rahul Agarwal on October 14, 2025

Text-to-video generation is a fascinating task. The secret lies in the quality of prompts. Each of them has its pros and cons.

Some AI tools that produce short-form videos are:

- Sora AI
- Hailuo AI
- kling AI
- Invideo AI
- Canva
- Leonardo AI
- Grok

Answered: Sheeba Thomas on October 14, 2025

From a more technical standpoint, I’ve been exploring these AI video tools not just for marketing, but also for creating quick **demo clips and walkthroughs for QA automation workflows**.

I’ve tried **Veed.io** and **HeyGen** , and while they’re great for short-form content, I’ve noticed what @Rahul mentioned, the avatars sometimes feel slightly off, especially when used in technical explainers. The integration possibilities with tools like **SORA** look promising, especially for automating repetitive video updates or feature summaries. I’d say what matters most is **how well these tools integrate with APIs or CI/CD pipelines,** something that could make it easier to auto-generate short “release summary” videos after test runs or deployments. Curious if anyone has tried automating that kind of workflow yet?

Answered: Ravindra Nishad on November 5, 2025

Higgsfield is my favorite tool right now because it creates short-form videos very quickly and enables me to use the latest and best AI models in photos and videos and also edit photos and raise the quality of photos and videos. It is so easy to learn that I trained a high school student on it to generate short videos for a cartoon series on TikTok and achieve excellent results and my team can start using it quickly with minimal training.

Question on: Ads
[Which one is the best AI video ads tool?](/discussions/which-one-is-the-best-ai-video-ads-tool)

What is the best AI video ad tool for my marketing goals — considering ease of use, integration with automation and CRM systems, multilingual support, and the ability to generate high-performing ad variants?

In 2026, there are plenty of AI tools that can generate videos quickly, but the best one really depends on your specific needs. For AI-generated user-generated content, you can check out Tagshop AI. Product is great for creating realistic UGC style videos for different social media, ecommerce product pages, and many more. Looking for AI tools is worth it nowadays, as they are saving your time, money, and energy. You don't need a big team or a specific team of designers to create a video. AI is smart enough to handle the complete workflow. Whether it comes to automation, generating content in multiple languages. AI can literally do anything.
