I like that I can meet with students and parents and receive training from anywhere, without traveling or scheduling in-person meetings. Zoom Virtual Agent can help with my meetings, and I like that it works as a customizable AI assistant inside Zoom. It summarizes meetings, identifies students who need follow-up, turns meeting notes into parent emails or student reminders, and helps me find action items without rereading transcripts. It can draft attendance and progress messages, organize student information, assignments, and next steps, help me prepare for meetings using prior Zoom content, and create quick recaps after parent meetings. I can give it instructions to focus on a particular task, such as creating weekly parent reminders or summarizing what we discussed. I also use it with Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. I have to be careful about what student data Zoom Virtual Agent can access and whether it’s district-approved, especially with FERPA-related information, where permissions matter a lot.
