What I like best about Zoom Phone is how seamlessly it ties into the rest of the Zoom ecosystem. I can start a call, jump into a video meeting, and send a chat message all from the same app, so I’m not juggling separate tools. The interface is clean and easy to learn, and call quality has been consistently clear and reliable, even when I’m working remotely or switching between my laptop and phone. Features like voicemail transcription, call forwarding, and call history synced across devices save me time every week, and the AI-powered call summaries make follow-ups much easier. Setup was quick for our team, and the pricing is competitive compared to traditional phone systems, which has been a real cost saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My main frustration with Zoom Phone is that the admin settings can be hard to navigate. Options like call queues, auto attendants, and user permissions are spread across several menus, so even small changes take longer than they should. The desktop app also uses a lot of system resources when I’m on a call while screen sharing or running a meeting, and I’ve occasionally had call quality dip on weaker Wi-Fi. Customer support can be slow to respond on more technical issues, and I’d like to see more detailed, easier-to-read call analytics built in. Some of the more advanced features, like AI summaries and extra calling plans, also feel like pricey add-ons, which makes the cost harder to justify for smaller teams. A simpler admin dashboard and clearer pricing tiers would go a long way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
