What do you like best about Zomato for Restaurants?

For me, the standout features are the real-time menu management and the instant order notifications. Being able to toggle an item’s availability with a single tap during a busy shift is a total lifesaver. What do you dislike about Zomato for Restaurants?

f I had to point out a flaw, it’s the reliability of the push notifications. There are times when the app is online, but order alerts get delayed or don't ring through immediately. In a fast-paced environment, even a small latency issue can throw off prep times. It feels like the background syncing sometimes drops the connection, which means staff have to constantly keep the screen awake and manually refresh just to be safe. What problems is Zomato for Restaurants solving and how is that benefiting you?

Honestly, the biggest problem it solves is the chaos of managing orders during peak hours. Before, trying to juggle dine-in customers with a steady flow of online delivery requests felt like a constant scramble, especially when everything depended on manual tracking. Zomato brings all of that together in one straightforward dashboard. It also fixes the issue of menu discrepancies—if we run out of an ingredient mid-shift, I can mark an item out of stock immediately instead of dealing with angry customers and cancelled orders later.

For me, the main benefit is how much time it saves and how much it cuts down on human error. It takes pressure off the staff because we’re not constantly switching between screens or acting as the middleman between the kitchen and delivery drivers.
