As an Executive Operations & Administrative Coordinator at a small private firm in Fort Worth, what I value most about Zoho CRM Plus is how it brings together multiple tools into one cohesive platform that fits our executive office workflows. We don’t have an in-house IT team, so switching between separate apps for vendor tracking, board member records, contract monitoring and reporting used to create a lot of extra overhead. Zoho CRM Plus lets me handle nearly all of these tasks within a single system, which keeps our admin work streamlined for our leadership group.
The bulk CSV import feature paired with highly configurable custom fields is incredibly useful for my day-to-day work. I created custom fields to track board meeting IDs, contract expiry dates and unique stakeholder reference numbers. When we update our vendor list or refresh board contact information, I can import all the records in bulk instead of manually typing each entry.
A great example was preparing for our annual board review earlier this year. We updated contact records for all board members and added ten new service vendors. I imported all the data from our prepared CSV file, populated our custom fields, and set up automated alerts that notify me and the leadership team when vendor contracts are nearing expiration. Before Zoho, I maintained this information in multiple spreadsheets, and it was easy to miss upcoming renewal deadlines. The automated reminders take that worry away.
I also appreciate the built-in reporting dashboard. I’m responsible for cross-department performance reporting, and I can pull data related to vendor engagements and stakeholder activity directly inside Zoho. I can quickly filter records and generate clean summaries to share with executives, instead of copying and pasting data across different software. I’ve also built simple internal reference guides so our small admin team uses consistent procedures when adding new contacts or logging contract details.
Zoho CRM Plus gives us a centralized hub for all stakeholder and vendor information. It reduces repetitive manual data entry, keeps our contract timelines visible, and makes it much simpler to prepare materials for board meetings and executive reviews. It’s robust enough for our sensitive executive workflows, yet manageable for someone without dedicated IT backup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest issue is the confusing permission structure. We have a small admin team, plus C-suite leaders and board members who need limited access. I tried to lock down sensitive vendor contracts and stakeholder reference data so only our executive team could edit those fields. But Zoho’s role settings are layered and hard to parse. A few weeks ago, I spent hours adjusting permissions for our junior admin staff. Even after I restricted edit rights, they could still view some confidential contract expiry details. I had to create extra manual rules to remind everyone not to share sensitive records, which adds risk to our stakeholder data.
Bulk CSV imports also have annoying inconsistencies. When I update board member records or add new vendors, I use custom fields for board meeting IDs and stakeholder reference numbers. On one recent import, the basic contact names loaded fine, but half of our custom field values didn’t populate. The system didn’t throw any clear error warnings, so I only caught the missing data after I finished the upload. I had to go row by row and verify every entry, which ate up hours of time right before our quarterly board prep.
The reporting dashboard is another weak spot. I need cross-department performance reports that combine vendor contract status and board engagement data. While basic reports work, filtering multiple custom fields at once gets clunky. The layout options are limited, so I still export the dataset and polish it in Excel before presenting it to leadership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
