The main value I get from ZigiOps is the complete freedom from writing and maintaining custom glue code between our core systems. At Shepherd, our architecture relies on a complex web of tools, including Jira for internal ticketing and Datadog for system monitoring. This tool handles the heavy lifting of keeping all that data in sync seamlessly. The bidirectional sync is a huge feature for us. Being able to update an incident in one place and have it automatically reflect everywhere saves a significant amount of time and prevents the kind of data drift that used to cause major headaches. It’s reliable enough that I don’t have to worry about the connections breaking overnight, which is a big deal when you're pushing code daily and managing infrastructure risks.
