What do you like best about Zamp?

The best thing about Zamp is the personal expertise and assistance they provide. They are a true partner and have been extremely helpful in every aspect, from the logistical aspect of setting up state returns to problem-solving more complex technical issues specific to our business. Their tools are easy to use and straightforward. They are proactive about identifying actions we need to take and are willing to do all of the leg work. It is a night and day difference compared to other large legacy sales tax solutions we were previously using! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zamp?

For a business of our size, it is a significant monthly cost (though very reasonable relative to competitors) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are two aspects of sales tax that were challenging: the first is the actual filling of monthly/quarterly returns, which is time consuming and can be complex depending on the state. The second is setting up the systems to file in the first place -- for example - how do we set up reporting of our dtc and wholesale sales (which are managed on different platforms) such that we can report them correctly for sales tax? With other providers we used pre-Zamp, they provided zero assistance on the setup. It felt like we needed to have in-house sales tax experts in order to use their product correctly. In contrast, the Zamp team provides both the expertise and setup, as well as the execution of monthly filing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
