The best part of Yext is absolute control. It serves as a single source of truth, using direct API integrations to instantly update business information, suppress duplicate listings, and manage all customer reviews across the web from one centralized dashboard. I personally don’t like Yext’s expensive pricing, steep learning curve, or frustrating customer support. The biggest downside, though, is still the “rent versus own” data model: if you cancel your subscription, the active API sync stops, and old errors and duplicate listings can quickly reappear online.
