Visibility into who is viewing emails and clicking links. This really helps when working deals or chasing a company to know who is busy and who is ignoring you.

Sometimes it cannot track all emails so you're not sure what's going on.

Easier to know when to give up on a prospect and when someone is just busy. This can allow me to focus time on better prospects who are interested.

Good functionality for email automation, templating, and notifications when the email is viewed or links are clicked. It is nice to have visibility when someone opens an email so you can see when they are available.

Nothing wrong with the product and low price.

If you dont use a CRM like HubSpot that has this feature already, it is worth getting. For Salesforce users it adds some useful communication tools for your sales and marketing teams.

It allows more effective outreach to sales contacts or for educational purposes such as invitations to conferences. It allows both faster emailing to save time, lots of customization options, and to know when someone opens an email or clicks a link to show their interest.

Most helpful is to blanket a city with one email then to add 2nd and 3rd touch followups. Also, to view which were opened, which were bad emails, and to track the replies, too.

A bit of a learning curve with a lot of trial and error.

Solving the arduous task of customizing every email going out for visit requests. Make one template and then customize per prospect if needed.

I love how I am able to send emails at scale and how it also tracks open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and reply rates all within one dashboard. 

**What do you dislike about Vendasta Yesware?**

I don't like the fact that an email in an automated drip campaign still goes out even though even the recipient forwarded the email and the forwarded recipient replies. The original recipient gets annoyed when they a get another unintended follow-up from me.

I have been using Yesware for all of our outbound lead generation. I run an agency and try to aim for 4-5 meetings a week and there is no better way to send personalized emails at scale than using Yesware.

I love having reminders for my emails. It really helps keep me organized. I also really like being able to send out email campaigns to my clients and not  have to worry about sending follow  up emails. Very convenient

I like the tracking features, reminders, templates. Really comes in handy when dealing with sales and people asking for the same information.  Now that I can add attachments in my templates, this will really help when sending media kits with package info.

I'm not sure why, but sometimes it disappears from my Gmail and I have to refresh.  I am using Chrome browser.

**What do you like best about Vendasta Yesware?**

I like that I can automate and run a lot of e-mails/e-mail campaigns. The software is very easy to use and it is very intuitive. If you don't have a CRM with all of these built-in features, Yesware is the way to go. Yesware does a great job at tracking opens. The ability to insert templates mid e-mail is a life-saver.

**What do you dislike about Vendasta Yesware?**

Yesware is not always very precise about the opens. Sometime if I open the e-mail it will count as an open. When I schedule a "call" in a campaign I don't receive reminders about the call.

Great company that is always innovating. If you don't have a built-in CRM this is the way to go.

The options on the mail merges are really great.  The ability to customize each email by creating open fields is really something that has helped close a lot more deals.

I wish you were integrated with Hubspot.

Yesware is great in that they focus on providing useful features through a UI that is super use friendly. I love being able to edit touches prior to sending and choosing a specific day and time to send them. Other tools make this simple ask hard or not even possible.

Would love to see an opt out feature and better individual analytics feature versus just team analytics.

Yesware is brilliant. The best feature is being able to see when someone opens your email. I love it and use for personal and work related emails.

When a mass email is sent to a group. It doesn't specify WHO opened the email, just that someone in the group did.

I really love that I have the feature to directly link conversations to salesforce. I also really enjoy that I am able to see when my prospects are opening and responding to emails. I love to see the statistics on how well my prospecting emails are working so I can change things up when need be.

Sometimes it can be inaccurate and say a prospect opened an email several times when they didn't. Also it doesn't track some emails.

Seeing how effective my emails are working when sending them to prospects. Seeing my response rate is a huge help!

I wish that the `email activity portion of yesware allowed me to click into a previous email easily.

**What do you like best about Vendasta Yesware?**

The best aspects of Yesware are being able to send many emails (up to 200) at a time in one mail merge and also being able to track who has read them. Using email templates also makes life much easier when drafting up messages to send to the masses.

**What do you dislike about Vendasta Yesware?**

Sometimes there are icons that pop up that are distracting and unnecessary.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendasta Yesware:**

If you send a lot of emails to your customers and want to track when and how often they open your emails I would definitely recommend it. If you have many customers on the opposite coast, I would also recommend it. If neither of those apply to you, maybe it isn't worth the price but it certainly adds value to our company.

We are able to prospect more efficiently with Yesware. It also gives us a good idea of when a customer is on their email and when they are not.

Being able to see who opened my email, on what device, in what city, what they clicked on, etc... It's neat to see people interact with my emails.

I also like the canned response templates for ease of drafting emails!

It also send me a "nudge" to remind me to get back to whomever has not responded.

I dislike nothing.  This is a well thought out and implemented too that a business gratefully uses.

DO IT! It is the best and most helpful in generating more sales for me!

No [problems at this time.  There was one earlier bout and I called the 800 number. They alerted me that they were working on it and by the next morning it was all taken care of.

Yesware has the potential for more effective features but has yet to roll those out. More integrations could be helpful!

It's helpful to know when my customers are opening emails so I can catch them at a good time. I'd rather call when my customers have admin time instead of interrupting while they speak with one of their customers. It's extremely helpful to have this kind of transparency!

I wish the templates were a one click wonder. Having to click twice isn't a huge deal, but it'd be easier to have a one click option.

Sending email with HTML causes Outlook to be non-responsive for a long period of time.
Tech support is mediocre.
Works about 60% of the time to track opening of emails with business user email account.
Doesn't report opening if user has Office 365

Nothing, platform is trash. You will lose opportunities trying to use this junk

Preview function does not work. Despite the emails looking great in the preview, they were completely distorted when they were sent out. Our team spent dozens of hours building lists, all to have prospects receive a sales email that was a complete disaster. I will NEVER consider YW again, what a joke!

I love YesWare's ability to store templates and make them easily available.

Sometimes it could be a bit glitchy and not always show the correct locations in regards to where emails are being opened from.

yesware lets me know if people are opening and reading my emails and when. super helpful for sales. they also provide me the ability to insert plug and play templates which saves me hours each day in my outreach efforts

I enjoy the visibility into who has viewed your email and if they clicked on the link. Knowing that someone opened your email allows you to cater messaging a bit more and be more specific to the person.

I dislike sometimes when it will not allow me to click the message and see exactly what I sent.

**What do you like best about Vendasta Yesware?**

 I am blown away at the functionality Yesware provides. It has some negatives, but overall it is an incredible value.  The campaigns plus email open tracking are worth twice the price.  If you routinely send messages such as invoices which you need to know have been read, Yesware is a fantastic solution. If you issue campaigns with multiple touches, Yesware is fantastic. 

**What do you dislike about Vendasta Yesware?**

 While the Gmail integration is  intuitive in design, it throws off a number of crucial interface elements with every appendage it adds to your window.  For example, the side bar throws off the window width for new messages, so you have to either open two at a time or expand them to fill the width of the window. Things like that. Additionally, there is some ambiguity about when an automated message is actually sent. They all end up getting sent, and within a timeframe that is perfectly acceptable to me, but others might find it a little unclear. 

**What problems is Vendasta Yesware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 Yesware runs our complete journalist outreach system.  Whenever we have a pitch to send, I draft it as well as two quick follow ups, set each up using convenient mail merge fields as individual touches, add contacts using the simple spreadsheet functionality, and the messages get sent automatically at the perfect time and tracked.

I love the templates that you can create for mass emails or regularly sent communication, it’s very helpful to have it pre-saved in my email.

I feel like the tracking doesn’t always work, sometimes I’ll get 20 notifications from someone opening an email and others they opened and responded but it didn’t pop up.
