What do you like best about Workstream?

I like the SMS-first candidate communication feature in Workstream. It really helps for time-sensitive seasonal hiring, as applicants respond quickly to texts. The message templates are a big time-saver, cutting down on repetitive typing. Without a dedicated IT staff, the simple dashboard and user-friendly interface make it easy for our team to use Workstream without much training. What do you dislike about Workstream?

Workstream’s custom reporting options feel pretty limited for our consulting use-case. During that retail seasonal hiring project, we struggled to pull clean, client-ready hiring metrics without lots of manual spreadsheet work. It also lacks fine-grained permission controls when multiple consultants work on one client’s candidate pool. Since we have no dedicated IT staff, we cannot tweak backend settings. These gaps eat into our time whenever we need to deliver polished recruiting summaries for our small-business customers on short notice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Workstream:

To improve Workstream, consider enhancing the custom reporting features to better suit consulting needs. Implementing more granular permission controls would also be beneficial, especially for teams working collaboratively on client projects.
