The #WOW platform at AtkinsRealis is powered by Workhuman, and it creates a simple and effective way to recognise employee performance which boosts morale. The interface is easy to navigate which makes it widely accessible. Awards are displayed, the number of points accumulated are tracked in the corner, and points can be converted for shopping. Workhuman also allows users to filter products by the amount of points that they have, making it easier to make selections out of the many options available. Workhuman updates quickly, it is reliable, and it is integrated within other AtkinsRealis platforms, through which employees are notified that they have points available or recognition to view. The platform is incredibly valuable to my team and I believe it is worth the investment of the company, and due to the ease of use there is little to no training or onboarding needed for employees to navigate Workhuman, yet the recognition help centre is available to guide users through. Workhuman also uses autointelligence features to provide personalised recommendations in the 'for you' page which guide me to the most relevant posts from my colleagues. While Workhuman is generally easy to use, there are some areas where the experience could be improved. The platform contains a large number of recognition posts, reward options and features, which can occasionally make it difficult to find specific content or products without using filters. Although the user interface is intuitive overall, some pages require multiple clicks to reach the desired information, particularly when browsing reward categories or reviewing past recognition activity. The integration with other AtkinsRéalis platforms works well and notifications are helpful, but at times I receive several reminders or updates relating to recognition activity, which can feel repetitive. Similarly, while the reward catalogue offers a wide range of products, the availability and value of some items can vary, meaning users may need to spend time comparing options before redeeming points. From a support and onboarding perspective, there is very little training required due to the simplicity of the platform. However, because most employees can begin using it immediately, some of the more advanced features and guidance available through the help centre may be overlooked. The personalised recommendations and intelligent features are useful, but there are occasions when the content surfaced on the "For You" page does not feel significantly different from what is already visible elsewhere on the platform.
