Workday HCM is a one-stop shop for recruitment, onboarding, goal setting, performance management, and employee development. All the tools which needed for HR is included in the Workday HCM.

Workday HCM has so many positives to give. But it has some disadvantages like integration & also it doesn't have a seamless reporting option. Hopefull,y they will improve.

Data migration is clumsy and provides room for error.

Workday allows the end users to complete self directed changes regarding payroll.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Several actions can apply to multiple Employees in Workday.  In order to do this, an axtion has to be completed on each and every employee.  It would be wonderful if you could multi select employees for termination or extension that share common attributes.

The UI and graphic design is good Workday. It does not only provide the applications, but also got a good visual experience.

One of the main issue is the user interface. Updating personal information often require multiple clicks. Hope it can be simpler.

It's a SaaS tool that is well integrated into modern toolchains (e.g., Slack).

After working with the tool for more than two years, I still struggle to navigate to what I'm looking for. The structure and usability do not support me in getting my things done. Without the shortcuts I've saved after finding the most essential features, I would be lost.
In general, Workday's usability is lacking compared to other tools. For example, why do I have to select each day when planning an absence? Selecting a rand by picking the first and last day would be more convenient. There are multiple of these little things that make Workday challenging to use.

Workday is rather causing problems than helping to solve them. Please make the every day tasks easier to accomplish with less clicks.

it's more convenient compared to using carbon paper timesheets

there's so many rules on how to report time worked and PTO. with the old carbon copy paper, we just left the timesheet blank if we didn't take time off.

The need for timekeepers have been eliminated. Workday is able to automatically check for errors on timesheets.

Workday is an extremely User Friendly and versatile ERP system. With a few upgrades to the base system we've found this to be our one time shop for all things ERP, Consolidated Financials and, HR Platform.

Although it is a great overall producut. There is still a goo investment in time, money, and training for the whole staff. once it's up and running it's off and going though.

Workday is currently working as our Corporate Financial ERP system that all other AMFRS systems are consolidated into. We also use the Workday HCM function that houses all of our Time cards, HR, and Payroll systems in one place.

Workday resolve issues related to HR data and old complex processes, and also problem of real time base view of users. Integration of  HR processes into a single place, it helped to smooth the tasks like payroll and benefits administration and talent management. Data integration improve data accuracy and improves compliance, and help us to better decision making. In all, it improved  efficiency and reduced administrative problem, and a more strategic HR processes.

I am part of HR team , using for account management , absence administration this tool helps lot in easy administration. We have lot of customizable options and also offers good amount of integration to other third party apps . Best in customer support through phone and online channels

Not as of now . Getting technical assistance from external is bit complicated . Other than this I don't have any dislike with workday . There is no free version .

Workday is clunky, terrible UI/UX, impossible to find the simplest things, nothing is intuitive, whether you want to see someone's job history neatly laid out in a table or run a report for a specific department or update someone's job title, everything is harder, messier, and more confusing than it should be. On top of this, there are no built in people analytics. I genuinely was shocked when I realized that BambooHR, directed at SMEs, has better built in people analytics than Workday... giant, industry megolith Workday. I can't fathom why one would choose Workday when there are so many better options. Using Workday is the worst part of my job.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

I have used Workday across several roles in my career and have experienced roles that do not use Workday and the difference is always immediately felt. Workday provides excellent tools to monitor and review my staff's time management as well as stay on top of career progression, training and most importantly setting goals for the year. From this, I am able to more adequately review my staff's progress and address areas of concern and ensure they are achieving their targets of career development. I also use workday to provide reports for payroll and update employee details however my main focus is staff management.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

We do get regular reports that the scrape ability of the site is below expectations with applicants having to enter the same details constantly for various roles. Knowing the work around for this (a simple plain text file to autofill the page) I believe many arent aware of this solution so it should be promoted more on the Workday site.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolving discussions on career development in rapid time I can get ahead of what my staff are discussing and use in on-to-one discussions to their benefit.

Workday is one of the best cloud-based employee management portals I have come across. It has one of the easiest to use platform with an amazing user interface. Workday is a complete human resources management system where you can manage employees' personal as well as professional information. I use it minimum 3 times a week.

I have been using it for now 3 months and have not encountered any issues.

With workday I have been able to update all my personal information like address, phone number, as well as my professional information like my work experience, skill set, etc. This information can be accessed by almost anyone at the organization making it easier for everyone. Workday also has a mobile app which makes it easier to be connected. It helps me a lot with my logins & reviews while also helping me in tracking and managing my payroll.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

I use Workday on daily basis, and love a lot of its features. For example, I really like the Time management component, as it makes it really easy to mark my working time/time-offs and vacations, which provides visibility to my manager.
I'm also a fan of how Workday is integrated with Slack. The quick actions I can do without leaving Slack nearly eliminate the need for me to use Workday directly.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

There are quite a few things I don't like about Workday. My number 1 issue with the platform is that it's very complicated to find anything. I am constantly asking and bugging my colleagues or my manager to find someone who knows how to complete a given process.
The other huge issue I have with Workday is its unintuitive user experience. I've been using Workday for nearly three years, and I still don't know how to close out my notifications, or how to view updates on given processes. 
For example, I was trying to request a document from my HR partner through Workday. I filled in all the necessary details and sent the request to the HR partner. A couple of days later, I see a notification about that document. I did not even notice that the HR partner sent the document back to me as I needed to correct a few things. I just thought that I probably forgot to send it a few days ago, so I sent it again. Then the HR partner reached out to me through Slack, and only then we were able to figure out what was going on. After checking my first notification once again, we found the comment from my HR partner hidden somewhere at the bottom, invisible

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday for me is solving the issue of time tracking. It eases communication with my manager because everything is documented there. It also acts as a great document hub for me, as I can always access my own documents from wherever I want.

What I like about it is Workday offers different features, from your business calendar, to your performance management, to your salary pay, up until your personal information. You can even find office announcements and feedback from colleagues there too. They even offer shortcuts for easier navigation. I make sure to use it on a monthly basis, maybe thrice a month.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

What I don't like about Workday is because they have all these features, sometimes it gets confusing which is which, where could I find certain things like my salary, or my bank account. You really have to navigate and check things through just to ensure you're in the right tab.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are probably solving on making the portal user-friendly as it is quite overwhelming sometimes, since they offer a lot of features on Workday, the user can easily get confused on where to find certain functionalities. They have to make the design more accessible and easier to navigate, they can maybe put in elements or like icons or short descriptions.
