"Massively Customizable and Scalable"

4/5

What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I have used WordPress to oversee websites for three different organizations. I enjoy how it is what you make it. It has massive customization features and is highly scalable. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of navigating plugins, it's easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

Ultimately, what makes WordPress so customizable is also its major downfall. Plugins, while great for customization and unique solutions, are a pain to upkeep. They majorly slow down the site and are not consistent across the board because they're built by independent developers. Every single thing is a plugin and one bad update will kill the whole site. I have also found WordPress sites to lack in SEO and AI searchability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

WordPress lets my organization regularly update images and content on our site, which is important in our industry. I appreciate that the weekly updates we make are usually small, so the platform’s ease of use is a big benefit. It’s also been great for publishing our blog posts, news articles, and thought leadership content. Once a template is built, we can reuse it again and again, which keeps things consistent and saves time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
