Integrating Lumi, the built-in AI assistant, directly into the PDF workspace completely changes how you work with long documents. You can quickly summarize dense 100-page reports, translate text into multiple languages, and use the “Chat with PDF” feature to pull out specific insights without having to read the entire file.
The core editing interface is very intuitive and feels much like working in Microsoft Word. It lets you edit text, replace images, and fine-tune layouts smoothly. On top of that, the multi-language OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine is impressively accurate at converting flat, scanned paper documents into fully searchable, editable digital files. While the AI features are a huge time-saver, they run on an AI token/credit system. That means heavy power users can burn through their monthly allocation quickly and may need to buy top-ups.
Also, when I’m working with highly complex corporate documents—especially ones with specialized fonts or text laid over intricate background graphics—the layout engine can sometimes misalign text boxes, which then requires manual adjustment. On top of that, the mobile apps and the web cloud interface feel a bit stripped down compared with the more robust desktop suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
