It's the OCR that I actually use and when I put a scanned pdf in there, and it easily converts it to something I can search, read and edit. Additionally, it will do all your OCR at once (batch) so you don't have to do each document individually. Also editing the text and images within the pdf works fairly well too and doesn't usually mangle the layout. Combining files, making password protected pdfs are also super simple. Nothing to learn. The biggest pet peeve I have is the font choices. That's silly, but that gets under my skin every time I need to match something. Some of the edits produce unreadable/garbled text until you've saved. Also, it doesn't support PDF/A so if you're working at a company that requires that format, it won't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
