"Wondershare PDFelement Makes Editing Scanned PDFs Feel Like Word"

What do you like best about Wondershare PDFelement?

I mostly use it to take plain text from scanned documents, rather than retyping everything. The OCR feature generally does a decent job identifying fonts (though I've seen some weird results). Anyway, Wondershare PDFelement allows me to modify PDF's as though they were Word docs., saving me from the hell of cutting/pasting. All I need to do is click & modify the text wherever I'm working on the document. Glad it didn't crap out on me today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wondershare PDFelement?

The Mac Version of Wondershare PDFelement is literally identical to the Windows version, but for absolutely no apparent reason. I despise when companies do things like that -- when I move between systems, my short cuts are always off. I think that the fact that Wondershare charges a monthly fee (subscription) is ridiculous - I'd rather pay one time and be done with it. If the scanned document is remotely blurry or otherwise distorted, the OCR will produce complete garbage and then I'll have to go through the process of fixing it myself. What problems is Wondershare PDFelement solving and how is that benefiting you?

It primarily converts static images of paper into actual editable content. I receive a multitude of PDF's from clients that contain scanned documents - often times these documents are "locked" in their native format and also rather than having to visually inspect each document and then re-type every line in Word, I simply upload them into Wondershare PDFelement.
