What I like most about Wistia is how easy it makes uploading, organising and sharing video content with customers. The upload process is quick and straightforward, which saves time when managing a large library of customer training videos.
One of my favourite features is the AI-generated chapters. These are incredibly useful, particularly for longer training videos, as they save time manually creating chapters and make it much easier for customers to jump straight to the sections most relevant to them.
I'm also a big fan of Wistia Channels. They're a great way to organise related videos in one accessible location, and the ability for customers to subscribe to a channel is particularly valuable. It's a feature I use regularly and a great way to help customers stay connected with training content.
Another feature I really appreciate is the flexibility to customise the viewing experience, particularly adding links to related videos at the end. This helps guide customers towards additional learning resources and encourages them to explore more content.
We also embed Wistia videos directly into our customer-facing websites and training materials, which is really useful. It allows us to make video content available wherever customers need it, without requiring them to visit a separate video platform.
The support team also deserves a mention. On the occasions when I've needed assistance or encountered an issue, they've always been receptive, responsive and helpful, which makes a real difference.
Overall, Wistia has made managing and delivering customer training videos much simpler. It's the combination of ease of use, AI-powered features, flexible content organisation, embedding options and reliable support that makes it such a valuable platform for me. There isn't a great deal I dislike about Wistia, as it generally meets my needs for hosting, managing and sharing customer training videos.
One area I'd like to see improved is the AI-generated chapters feature. While it's a feature I really enjoy using, it would be great to have more control over the number of chapters generated for a video. Being able to specify how many chapters I'd like, or adjust the level of detail, would provide more flexibility when organising longer training videos.
I've also noticed recent updates to the branding and customisation options, which are welcome improvements, and it's good to see the platform continuing to evolve.
Overall, these are relatively minor suggestions rather than significant frustrations. Wistia does what I need it to do, and I'm generally very happy with the features and functionality available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
