Windmill has made calibration genuinely manageable. The 9-box grid, the clear facilitator vs. committee permissions, and the discrepancy detection that flags rating/feedback mismatches before the meeting have saved us a ton of prep time. The platform also simplified our peer review process by nudging reviewers to choose one dominant value and add a couple of concrete examples, rather than writing open-ended essays, which noticeably sped up completion. On top of that, the Windmill team has been truly hands-on with support—quick to jump on a call and walk us through setup or calibration questions in real time (shoutout to Georgia and Mark). The peer review and calibration setup had a few friction points early on and ended up requiring live walkthroughs instead of being fully self-serve. Some permission and packet-sharing settings weren’t obvious out of the box, which slowed us down at first.
