What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

Had a keynote speaker who couldn't actually be online during our target time slot due to a time zone mismatch, so we used simulive to run a pre-recorded session that streamed as if it were happening live while the speaker joined live chat and Q&A in real time from wherever they actually were. Attendees had no idea it wasn't a true live stream, they were reacting and asking questions like normal. Also used gesture recognition during a smaller session, someone raised an actual hand on camera and the platform detected it and flagged them in the queue instead of needing to type into a chat box to be noticed. What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

Simulive setup took more prep than a straightforward live session would've, had to time the recording perfectly so the speaker's live chat responses actually lined up with what was happening on screen at that moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Webex Events & Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Faking a live session convincingly enough that nobody noticed solved a real scheduling problem we didn't have a good answer for otherwise. Gesture recognition added a nice touch for smaller, more personal sessions where typing felt less natural than just raising a hand like you would in person. Simulive does take real upfront coordination to pull off smoothly, not something to attempt without rehearsing the timing first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
