**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

The offline mobile functionality is its biggest win by far. Many of our field-based SME clients run pop-up shops or on-site service jobs with spotty internet, and they can log sales, upload receipt photos or draft invoices fully offline before syncing later. Converting estimates to finalized invoices takes a single tap, which eliminates recreating identical line items manually. Automated payment reminder messages also cut down our team’s repetitive outreach chasing late customer payments. Its built-in receipt scanner and customizable expense tags make sorting piles of physical receipts far faster than manual Excel entry, and quick P&L overviews let us spot cash flow gaps during initial client consultations. The dashboard runs smoothly even on older budget smartphones our small business clients commonly use, and its low subscription cost keeps monthly overhead minimal for micro enterprises. I also rely heavily on its Excel export tool to pull full transaction logs, which is the only viable workaround we have to move data into DATEV later on. Custom branding on invoices is a minor but nice touch for clients wanting consistent corporate formatting.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

This platform is engineered exclusively around India’s GST tax framework, with zero native support for German USt VAT rules. There are no preloaded SKR04 charts of accounts, no mandatory German invoice field templates, and every tax rate and ledger mapping has to be set up manually one by one. There is zero native DATEV integration or standardized DATEV CSV export format, so every month our accounting team spends hours restructuring exported transaction spreadsheets line-by-line to meet DATEV’s strict import rules. Vyapar’s audit logs do not generate immutable, tamper-proof records required by GoBD tax audits, and its default data storage limits fail HGB’s legal 10-year financial record retention requirement. All setup documentation and support articles exist only in English, which creates confusion for our clients with limited English proficiency. Onboarding was frustratingly slow despite fast basic account creation; we had to fully retrain each client to adjust India-focused tax workflows to German fiscal standards, adding dozens of extra training hours per client. Advanced double-entry bookkeeping functionality is extremely limited, so we cannot generate audit-ready financial statements directly within the tool for tax authority submissions. There is no full German language localization across menus and reporting modules either.

**What problems is Vyapar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deploy Vyapar purely as a preliminary data capture tool for our small German SME clients. It replaces messy physical receipt piles and disjointed shared Excel spreadsheets by centralizing on-site sales logging, expense tracking and basic debtor management. Automated tax math cuts human calculation errors during initial data entry, and centralized customer/supplier ledgers remove duplicate record keeping. All raw transaction data we gather here gets organized before formal, audit-compliant bookkeeping in DATEV, speeding up our pre-audit data sorting phase significantly.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

The centralized transaction ledger is its biggest strength. All import/export billing and shipment data lives in one place, no more jumping between scattered spreadsheets. Custom invoice fields let me add EU customs required codes directly, and the quick filtering report tool slashes hours of manual work when putting together AWG audit files for our compliance team.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

There are no pre-made templates matching Germany’s AWG trade reporting standards, so every export invoice needs manual edits. Currency rates won’t auto-sync with official EU customs daily rates, forcing me to cross-check values in Excel. It also lacks dedicated tagging for shipment audit trails, slowing customs inspection document retrieval.

**What problems is Vyapar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously relied on messy separate Excel files and basic invoicing tools. Vyapar consolidates all cross-border trade records, automates transaction categorization, and delivers standardized invoices. This cuts manual data entry errors and drastically shortens the time our team spends preparing EU customs and AWG audit archives each quarter.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I like the Vyapar dashboard the most. While creating a bill, it automatically calculates GST, separating C GST and high GST automatically. It is very easy to create an e-invoice, which can also be done through the government portal, and it also gives us the option to create an e-way bill. Through the business portal, an e-invoice is created in just a few seconds, whereas otherwise, it takes 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, it automatically calculates GST without manual calculation, and our e-way bill and e-invoice are also created automatically.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

In this, we need to make the GST online payment or generate its challan, but the challan cannot be generated. The concept of TDS is mostly not clear, so there is a need to improve the concept of TDS.

**What problems is Vyapar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing and accounting have become easier with Vyapar; earlier we used to do it in Excel. It automatically counts GST and it has also become simpler for us to create e-invoices.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

Vyapar offers a clean interface for basic accounting and tax management. It is helpful for tracking simple sales and generating PDF receipts for customers, making it a decent choice for small offices with low transaction volumes.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

The workflow is terribly slow for fast-paced retail counters. You cannot use keyboard shortcuts to select items by code—you are forced to use the mouse for every selection. Additionally, the WhatsApp automation sends invoices showing a 'Due Balance' even when a customer pays in full, which makes customers feel scammed. You also cannot save multiple customers with the same name, even if they have different phone numbers, and deleting duplicate inventory items is nearly impossible without erasing all historical data.

**What problems is Vyapar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vyapar helps us keep a digital record of our inventory and basic customer balances. However, the current UX/UI drawbacks—like the lack of a UPI QR code on direct sale invoices and mouse-dependent item entry—are actually creating more work for our staff during busy hours. It solves basic ledger needs but fails to meet the speed requirements of a real-world retail environment.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I like that the Vyapar app is very easy to use, and even a non-tech person can handle it. Their support is good and very responsive, which I appreciate. The initial setup was smooth, and it has made billing and managing accounting in my hardware business more digital and efficient. I can now send bills digitally to customers' mobile numbers, and it keeps all records saved. Vyapar also helps me with GST details and other accounting needs every month.

I think it would be better if Vyapar provided more modification options in batch details.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I find Vyapar incredibly convenient for my hardware shop because it provides seamless billing and inventory management solutions. I appreciate how it sends invoices directly to customers via mobile or WhatsApp, eliminating the need for printed copies and saving both time and paper. The GST billing feature is another significant advantage, as I can easily grant my accountant access at the end of each month to handle all the GST-related tasks. I also love that Vyapar offers both online and offline access, which means I can carry out offline billing without interruptions and it automatically syncs once the internet connection is restored. Moreover, I value the staff role permissions and access options, allowing me to assign specific roles to employees and ensuring they can only perform tasks relevant to their roles. This grants me peace of mind as I don't need to constantly oversee their activities. Transitioning to Vyapar was smooth, as it allowed me to update all my stock from Excel in one go, which was a standout feature. Overall, Vyapar's user-management features, offline capabilities, and efficient integration options enhance the functionality of my shop.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I find Vyapar incredibly valuable for its newly launched OCR feature. It makes the process of managing purchases and updating stock information extremely efficient. Previously, I had to manually input each purchase detail such as item name, quantity, price, and units, which was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. With the OCR feature, I simply upload an image of the purchase bill and all details are updated automatically, including stock levels. This is a significant time-saver and reduces the chance of errors. The setup of Vyapar was notably smooth, thanks to the support team who assisted me through Anydesk, making the transition from paper-based records seamless. Overall, these features of Vyapar save me time, increase accuracy, and enhance my workflow efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

I would say that they should give some customization options for each type of business. Currently, they have all features inbuilt and you can't add on any extra features if you want.

**What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I use Vyapar for running my small general store in my hometown, and it's incredibly helpful for both billing and inventory management. **What do you like best about Vyapar?**

I am using Vyapar for my electrical business, and it really helps me with managing inventory, like knowing what I sell, purchase, and what’s there in stock. The feature I feel helps the most is the low stock alert. Whenever my stock goes low, this app alerts me so I can be prepared to order more items. The initial setup was good and easy since their team was always there to support.

**What do you dislike about Vyapar?**

I think they should give some invoice customization options. Currently, they have limited options, so we can't customize in my own way. If I want to add any other fields on an invoice, I can't do that.

**What problems is Vyapar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vyapar for managing inventory in my electrical business, helping me track sales, purchases, and stock levels. It sends low stock alerts, so I'm prepared to restock promptly.
