What I like most about Visualping is how it simplifies the entire process of monitoring website changes. Earlier, I had to revisit different websites regularly to check whether anything had been updated, which was quite repetitive and time-consuming. With Visualping, I can simply add the webpage, select the particular section I am interested in, and let the platform monitor it automatically.
The visual comparison feature is probably one of my favorite parts because it gives a clear idea of what has changed between two versions of a page. The email notifications are also helpful because I don't need to keep the dashboard open throughout the day. I also appreciate that the platform is relatively easy to understand and doesn't require any technical knowledge to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although the overall experience is good, there are a few areas where I think the platform could improve. Sometimes minor webpage changes, such as updated timestamps, banners, cookie notifications, or automatically rotating content, can trigger alerts even when the actual information I care about hasn't changed.
Another thing I would appreciate is more flexibility in managing monitoring limits, especially for users who need to track multiple websites. It would also be useful to have more advanced notification filtering options so that less important changes don't create unnecessary notifications. These are relatively minor issues, but improving them would make the platform even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks so much for the review, David! Glad Visualping took the repetitive site checking off your plate, and that the visual comparison makes changes easy to spot.
A quick tip for the noisy alerts: in the "Alert me when" box you can tell the AI exactly what you care about and what to ignore, like "Ignore timestamps, banners and rotating content." Cookie banners are blocked by default, and if one slips through, the Block action in the Actions panel hides it. Here's a short guide: https://help.visualping.io/en/articles/6308993
