Thats about it though. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** I feel like I spend alot of time going back and watching my recordings on vidyard. I wish It had a mirrored mode or studio mode. I basically just record myself on zoom these days, because I feel like I have so much more control over the creation of my videos. **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its a great beginners way to create and edit short form videos for professional use. ### 2. These features work as intended, and the platform can be useful for simple video communication, it does what most other solutons like Loom can do. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** The customer support is extremely disappointing. Whenever we encountered issues or needed help, the response was slow and unhelpful, making it difficult to rely on the platform. This lack of communication from support turned us off. While Vidyard and Loom offer nearly identical features, Loom's superior service and responsiveness make it a much better alternative in our experience. **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vidyard helps with creating and sharing videos for communication and engagement, making it easier to convey messages through visuals rather than long emails...just like most other competitors in their market. ### 3. Ability to personalize the videos **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** Reporting is attached to players and not videos Playlist player is basic Customization requires a lot of work and collaboration with the Vidyard team. We never used the personalization feature **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was the video hosting platform that I onboarded at my previous company. It was more innovative than Brightcove at that time. Vidyard folks were easy to work with. ### 4. The lack of clear explanations on the website and youtube channel didn't make the situation any better I kept asking myself questions like: - So is it a cloud storage and distribution platform? - Is it an editing platform? - If I want a video embedded in a blogpost I post to my site via hubspot, how does Vidyard come into play? - If all my other tools, email marketing tool/hubspot can embed videos smoothly, why do I still need Vidyard? **Recommendations to others considering Vidyard:** Make instructions clearer and make integrations smoother **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** A software that is integrated with all the solutions we are using. I enjoy the idea and thought process behind Vidyard's capabilities. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** It's not that I dislike VidYard, I think they have done an extremely amazing job with their product and it's integration into other programs as well. My issue is more related to having my vidyard email attachments actually clicked and opened, which is very rare. **Recommendations to others considering Vidyard:** give it a shot, keep your videos short and to the point! It's the best way to get your face out there with a touch of personalization **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a face to face sort of marketing environment is always a challenge with outbound leads.
