I do outbound sales and cold emails mostly just get deleted or maybe skimmed for five seconds before someone moves on. Started recording a short personalized Vidcast instead for warmer leads, walking through their actual website with specific suggestions instead of some generic pitch deck. Got a notification the prospect had watched the whole thing, not just opened the email, and he replied within the hour asking to set up a call. Never happens with a plain text email, not even close. Recording myself on camera for every single prospect takes real time compared to just typing out a quick email, can't exactly batch these the way I could with templated outreach, so volume's genuinely lower doing it this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
