Vevox integrates seamlessly with Powerpoint. The slide and poll designs are both easy to use and powerful in what you can achieve. For example, in polls for my own classes, I could create a short survey for an exercise, and Vevox automatically calculates the average, median, and mode of responses (I wish it could also do standard deviation, or some measure of variance). I can refresh the polls when they are done, and they coordinate in synch with my lectures (e.g., I have 5 questions, and they only open each question to users when I advance to the slide we are on, so students don't jump ahead or get lost, and I don't have to create 5 different polls manually). The results slides could add a bit more freshness and polish on design, but that seems standard for similar online polling. I also wish that for numerical scores there were more options to report (e.g., standard deviation or standard error bars for the averages). But, I will say that it can already do significantly more than what the competition can regarding numerical in-class polls with automatic results calculations.
