What do you like best about Vessel?

Vessel changed the way I think about investor engagement. We've always put a lot of work into our quarterly reports, but now LPs don't have to wait for that cycle or come to me directly — they log in anytime and see exactly where they stand: capital drawn, outstanding calls, the metrics that matter to them, right up front on their own customized landing page.

Compared to other portals we've used, the interface is just cleaner. Others felt like document databases; Vessel is an actual interactive tool, and our LPs call it slick and intuitive. What do you dislike about Vessel?

Very little. New features sometimes arrive faster than we can adopt them — a good problem to have — and whenever we need anything, the team is right there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vessel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scale. Across multiple funds, we were emailing reports manually in batches to different contacts at each LP — and still hearing that people hadn't received what they needed. When we launched our fourth fund, it was clear the old process had become antiquated.

Now we upload once, tag by LP role, and investors serve themselves on their own timeline. Our latest quarterly reporting was night and day — tight, efficient, painless.
