I appreciate that aspect of their service. **What do you dislike about Verblio?** It's hard to get a writer for projects, and the work provided is often very low quality. You end up either having to send things back for major revisions or do those revisions yourself—which defeats the purpose of hiring a freelancer at a certain point. It's as simple as that: If you're not getting quality content, there's no point in hiring the service. Their whole format is likely causing a lot of these problems. Writers aren't paid until you accept their piece—but you also don't get to communicate with them until they submit the first draft. You don't even get to look at their qualifications and choose a writer. So they may well spend a lot of time on a piece, and you can't accept it because the content went over their head, and now they're probably mad that they weren't paid, but you still don't have any content for your site. **What problems is Verblio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Verblio was supposed to help me create content quickly, but they failed. They lack available quality writers, which means briefs just sit untouched. It was meant to take work off my hands but ended up being more work. ### 2. Any concern or request I have had has always been handled quickly and respectfully. The team is serious about the content produced on the platform, but is also a lot of fun to work with. I also appreciate the way they proactively reach out for feedback on their products and services as they work to evolve the platform. **What do you dislike about Verblio?** I wish there were a waiting period between a preferred writer rejecting an article and the topic going into the general queue. It is beneficial to both our needs and the writers who work with us. We are less hesitant to give new writers a chance for fear of losing credits, and new writers can more easily build their"portfolio" and rank on Verblio. **What do you dislike about Verblio?** I think there should be better screening for applicants to join the pool of writers for Verblio. Although we have had mostly positive experiences with writers, there are occasions where we try out new writers and they are quite disappointing. Their grammar will be terrible, almost entirely ignore our writing style, and even produce multiple spelling mistakes that could be avoided with a simple proofread. For a company that states it has a rigorous screening process, it begs the question of how some of these writers slipped through the cracks. **Recommendations to others considering Verblio:** Although there is a 3-day turnaround minimum for content, a pool of core preferred writers will often complete your requests in less time. If you have tight deadlines, the right writers will make all the difference. **What problems is Verblio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our ecommerce company produces an abundance of content related to appliances, furniture, and lifestyle needs. About 20% of our content needs to be revised by our team before publishing. I acknowledge that we have a niche service offering, so that may make it challenging for Verblio's writers. **Recommendations to others considering Verblio:** Ask Verblio if they have writers that are subject matter experts in your vertical or sector. Request that they add those writers, and only those writers, to your account if you sign up for their services. Also the results came 2-3 days later than initially proposed. I decided not to use their services. I didn't realize it, but I was signed up for a subscription of $459/month. I don't use that PayPal email much - so I missed the charge e-mails. I was charged 3-months in a row for a SERVICE that I didn't receive. This is not software - why am I being charged regularly? When I explained the situation, they only refunded one month. **What problems is Verblio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wanted to get blog post content for my business.
