What do you like best about Vendasta AI Platform?

I’m Tangert Leach, Audience Growth Manager at Prime Content Media LLC. My day revolves around building subscriber lists, running segmented email campaigns and tracking audience performance, and I use Zoho Campaigns all the time for our newsletter outreach. We’ve been working with the Vendasta AI Platform to support our media client campaigns, and it’s really changed how we package and deliver growth services. Before Vendasta, I had to pull reports, draft social posts and write campaign copy separately for every single media client. It was slow, repetitive, and I slipped up pretty badly last month. One of our long‑term media clients asked for a recap of their subscriber growth and fresh social captions to push their new article series. I rushed the draft and mixed up their audience numbers with another client’s stats. They caught the mistake right away, and it made us look careless. That was when we started looking for a tool that could generate consistent assets and keep client reporting organized in one spot.

What I love most about Vendasta AI Platform is how it bundles AI content creation, local reporting, reputation management and campaign assets for all our media clients under one dashboard. I can drop in a client’s brand voice guide, article topics and audience data pulled from Zoho Campaigns, and its AI cranks out social captions, newsletter copy, short summaries and even ready‑made graphic prompts. Instead of staring at a blank page for hours, I get a solid first pass that I tweak to match each publication’s tone. The automated snapshot reports are another big win. It compiles subscriber trends, engagement and review activity so I don’t have to stitch together screenshots from three different tools for every check‑in call.

It also keeps all client assets separated cleanly. Each media brand gets its own workspace, so I never accidentally cross‑pollinate copy or metrics between clients again. When we roll out a new newsletter push, I use the AI to draft variants for different subscriber segments we set up inside Zoho Campaigns. Once the copy is finalized, I export it straight over and schedule the send. If I get pulled away to analyze open rates on Zoho Campaigns, another member of our small team can jump into Vendasta, pull a client report or adjust draft copy without needing my notes.

We’re a lean media outfit and don’t have a whole creative team. Vendasta AI takes the heavy lifting out of drafting routine content and client updates. I still read through everything closely and adjust wording so it doesn’t sound generic for each brand. Even so, it’s cut down my repetitive drafting work massively, keeps client deliverables consistent, and helps me avoid those embarrassing mix‑ups with audience data we ran into before. What do you dislike about Vendasta AI Platform?

To be honest, Vendasta AI Platform helps our small media shop churn out content and client reports alongside Zoho Campaigns, but there are a few annoying limitations that add extra work, and I hit a tricky snag not long ago. I was building a batch of newsletter copy and social captions for one of our bigger content clients. I fed their brand guide and article links into the AI generator, and it produced a solid draft. But once I saved it to their workspace, the platform didn’t lock the version properly. When I went back later to tweak a few lines, it overwrote the approved copy I’d already shared with the client. I had to rewrite the whole set from scratch while I was also sorting new subscriber segments in Zoho Campaigns. Now I copy every finished draft into a separate document before saving edits, which is one more manual habit I wish I didn’t need.

The custom reporting setup also feels rigid for our online media goals. Our clients want breakdowns segmented by newsletter open rate, subscriber source, and content topic performance. Vendasta’s default report templates lean heavily toward local business reviews and Google listings, which aren’t our main focus. I can’t save a custom template tuned for email audience growth. Last week, one client asked for a full performance summary of their last three newsletter drops. I exported the raw data, matched it with metrics pulled from Zoho Campaigns, and built the report manually. That ate up most of an afternoon I’d planned to spend testing new audience segments.

I also find its AI tone controls pretty limited. A few of our publications have really distinct voices — some casual, some more editorial. The AI tends to default to that generic small‑business marketing tone no matter what I put in the prompt. It gives me a starting point, but I spend a lot of time rewriting sentences to match each brand’s style. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
