've been using Velixo for our financial reporting and it's honestly changed the way our finance team works. The integration with Sage is seamless — data flows directly into Excel without the manual exports and copy-pasting we used to deal with, which saves us hours every month. What I love most is the flexibility to construct my own reports exactly the way I want them. Instead of being boxed into rigid, pre-built templates, I can design reports that actually match how our business thinks about its numbers — pulling in the right accounts, dimensions, and periods without fighting the software to get there. My main wish is that it were a bit more user-friendly out of the box. The formulas can take some time to get comfortable with, and I'd love to see a wider library of ready-made templates to start from rather than building everything from scratch. A gentler learning curve would make it much easier to onboard new team members. Still, once you get past the initial learning curve, the payoff in flexibility and time saved is well worth it. If you're on Sage and want reporting that can actually be shaped to your needs, Velixo is worth a serious look — just budget some time to learn the formula syntax. That tradeoff is worth it for you today, but it does mean day one for a new team member is steeper than it should be, and that's the part we're actively working on. A few things that might help in the meantime. The template library at velixo.com/templates exists for exactly the "don't start from a blank sheet" problem, and it keeps growing. Velixo Academy is free for every user at learning.velixo.com, which is a considerably better way to onboard someone than handing them a working file and hoping.
