What do you like best about Vayu?

What I like most about Vayu is its flexibility and how well it adapts to our specific business and billing needs, which aren’t always straightforward.

We operate across three different sales channels: self-serve customers, sales-led contracts, and cloud marketplaces, and each comes with its own billing requirements. Vayu lets us manage all of these in one place, supported by integrations and customizable billing logic that align with how we work.

The platform is user-friendly and gives us strong visibility into our billing data. We can configure and present the exact features, calculations, and breakdowns we need, which makes it easier to understand what’s driving the numbers. The system performs reliably in handling our complex billing processes, while the automation, intelligent data checks, and reporting tools reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and help everything run more efficiently.

Onboarding and ongoing support have also been important in helping us tailor the platform to our requirements. What do you dislike about Vayu?

Vayu is still a relatively young product, and a few areas could benefit from additional refinement-especially the user interface, reporting flexibility, and certain configuration options. Although the platform is highly customizable, some features still need fine-tuning to better align with our specific requirements.

The AI-powered contract-reading capabilities could be more accurate and comprehensive, and we’ve occasionally noticed minor delays or lag in the billing view. That said, these issues have generally been addressed quickly by the team.

Reporting is another area with room to grow. While the current reports support our billing operations, the ability to independently build and customize reports for deeper, more advanced analysis remains somewhat limited.

Overall, these points feel like opportunities for improvement rather than major limitations. The Vayu team has been very responsive to feedback, and the platform continues to evolve and improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vayu solving and how is that benefiting you?

As our business grows rapidly, billing has become increasingly complex. With multiple sales channels, different billing platforms, creative contract structures, and customer-specific terms, managing everything through spreadsheets and separate systems was becoming difficult to scale. Each new requirement often meant additional manual work or temporary fixes for our finance and backend teams.

Vayu brings these processes into one centralized platform, connecting contracts, usage, invoicing, and collections while supporting our different billing models and customer needs. This has significantly reduced manual effort and improved efficiency.

Having billing operations, ARR reporting, revenue recognition, and customer information in one place gives us better visibility and control. Automated payments, collections, and customer access to billing information further simplify our daily operations.
