What do you like best about Vayu?

The biggest value for us is being able to build pricing logic directly on top of our own data. We send metering data into Vayu via API, then manage contract terms and pricing rules within the platform.

For a company like ours—where pricing can depend on usage, performance, and different AI-related cost structures—that level of flexibility is extremely important. It did take some engineering effort upfront to get the data pipelines and metering set up correctly, but once everything was live, Finance could own the pricing logic and make adjustments without needing developers for every change.

As a result, our billing process is more scalable and much easier to manage as our pricing models continue to evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vayu?

It’s a powerful tool, so there’s definitely a learning curve. You have to really think through your contract structures before you start building. Also, don't underestimate the initial technical lift to get your data flowing correctly—it’s not a "one-click" setup, but it’s worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vayu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our pricing evolved beyond traditional subscription models, and our previous billing setup could no longer support the level of flexibility we needed. We have pricing models that depend on usage, contract terms, and AI-related cost and performance considerations, which created a lot of manual work and complexity.

Vayu allows us to connect our usage data, define pricing logic, and automatically apply the right contract terms in the billing process. This has reduced manual work, improved billing accuracy, and made it much easier to support new pricing models without rebuilding our billing infrastructure each time.
