"Developer-Friendly Voice Automation with Natural, Low-Latency Calls"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vapi?

Vapi has made it possible to automate voice calls with drivers, like trip reminders or status confirmations, without needing a human agent to place every call. Setting up voice agents was more straightforward than expected, with a developer-friendly API that let us integrate calling logic directly into our backend. Latency during conversations has been low enough that interactions feel natural rather than awkward or delayed, which matters for keeping drivers engaged during automated calls. Being able to customize the voice agent's behavior and connect it to our own backend data has let calls feel relevant to each specific trip rather than generic. What do you dislike about Vapi?

Handling mixed Arabic-English speech from drivers doesn't always get interpreted accurately, occasionally requiring calls to escalate to a human agent when the automated system misunderstands intent. Setting up more complex, multi-turn conversation flows took real iteration to get right, especially for scenarios where drivers might respond unpredictably. Pricing scales with call volume and duration, which becomes a bigger consideration as automated outreach to drivers increases. Documentation covers common use cases well, but more advanced customization required digging through examples rather than clear guidance upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
