We used Valimail Monitor (free tier) to take our firm’s domain from DMARC monitoring to enforcement. It was one of two reporting tools we ran side by side, and the one we relied on for the go/no-go decisions.
What worked well: the sender breakdown made it easy to see that our legitimate mail was passing, separate from the spoofing. The Unidentified Senders CSV export was the most useful thing in the product. It gave us every failing IP with no cap, and let us confirm nothing legitimate would be caught before we switched to quarantine. The Email Disposition view then showed receivers actually quarantining forged mail within a day of the change. The numbers matched our other reporting tool within about a point every week. Downsides: the per-message failure detail is paywalled, which we didn’t realize at signup. A few smaller senders we use showed up as unidentified rather than by name. Reports from some large receivers arrive a day or two late, so recent days can look empty until they fill in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
