"A good platform to find freelance talent"

What do you like best about Upwork?

I can get help as I need it. I don't have to sign a long term contract. I also like how I can review the freelancers profiles and see their portfolios. Between the keyword filters, the freelancers profile, and reading their client reviews I'm able to find quality talent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Upwork?

It's hard to give an honest review to freelancers who are working long-term on my projects. It puts me in an awkward position to give a negative review when I know they have the passwords to my site and will be working on it in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Upwork:

Upwork can work really well if you do your homework. Read the freelancer profiles and their ratings, and read the customer reviews. I've found that you get what you pay for - the freelancers that charge more and are rated higher have higher skill levels and act professionally. If it's a really high priority project, consider a freelancer from your own country because they are more likely to understand where you're coming from and can respond quicker if your work hours are in sync. What problems is Upwork solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm a solo entrepreneur, so it's great to find the variety of skills and talent levels that Upwork offers. Being able to hire for specific projects and not get locked into ling term contracts has also been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
