What do you like best about Upwork?

With Upwork, payments are always guaranteed as one will be able to know a client who has a payment method that is verified or a client who's payment method is not verified.That way, I always find a way of filtering those clients who's payment method is not verified and sending proposals to clients with a payment method that is verified. What do you dislike about Upwork?

I don;t like how Upwork deducts 20% fee from the total amount of money I get paid by clients. I mean, 20% fee does not sound fair to me. This is a lot of money. They could have maintained the 10% fee they used to charge earlier. I also don't like the fact that they are now charging $0.15 for me to buy connects. Connects used t be free and it would have been good if they maintained that... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Upwork:

I would advice anyone willing to use Upwork to give it a try. We all know that Upwork is the umber one freelancing site worldwide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Upwork solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Upwork to offer remote services to companies that are located in different continents. With Upwork, I have realized that I don't need to wake up everyday and go to work. I don't need to go to the UK to work for UK based company but rather, I can just work from home, remotely and offer my services while at the same time getting paid.
