I really appreciate UpCloud's server performance, which is amazing and doesn't compromise speed despite being more affordable. The chat support is fantastic; unlike my previous host's ticketing system, UpCloud's chat support team is knowledgeable and directly helpful. Additionally, the ability to have a data center in Chicago and a bundled free firewall are great features. The cost savings of 66% without any performance sacrifices have been significant, especially in my startup phase. The free trial was a big deal for me, allowing everything to be set up perfectly before committing. The initial setup was quite easy, similar to what I was used to, and that was reassuring. Configuring the firewall was unintuitive. It wasn't clear that you specify the port to allow packets to reach your server, not the port for incoming connections.
