"Unily: a game-changing extranet for a global ecosystem of diverse partners"
5/5
What do you like best about Unily?

Unily is rich in features that are critical for us to achieve our mission as a small not-for-profit i.e. to radically accelerate women’s participation in the workplace through an ecosystem of change-agents across organizations globally corporations, industry associations, women’s organizations and academia who all collaborate on the Unily platform as an extranet portal. Its widget-based architecture has allowed our small team to create a rich environment for our varied end-users, who exist across these multiple different partner organizations. The security group capabilities allow us to ring-fence partners within private sites, and the separate branding capability allows those partners to feel a personalised experience while being part of the bigger community in the shared sites. Unily’s overall digital security is key to our partner base, as they demand enterprise grade security for the proprietary information they share on the platform.

Further key features which have been key to enabling this multi-partner ecosystem include: dedicated workspaces, personalized content, secure document management, integrated calendars, ideation, forms, webinars, resource libraries, and a central Knowledge Hub, configured around each community’s needs. Consequently, participants receive personalized experiences while knowledge, learning, and expertise flow across the wider ecosystem, strengthening connections and multiplying impact across our shared mission. What do you dislike about Unily?

Overall, we have found everything that we needed in the Unily platform to meet our business objectives with perhaps the one exception of language translations and especially the lack of Arabic as a language. This was a big hole for us in the early days as we have partner organizations in the Middle East. The other difficulty with languages is the manual translation for some of the areas. There are some areas that don’t support translations, such as forms. However, Unily have listened and have just launched a product upgrade with Arabic included along with other translation support.
