What do you like best about Underdog.io?

I used Underdog.io as a hiring manager, and it’s honestly the easiest way to find great talent. The candidates on there are seriously top-notch, and it’s been a game changer to have a platform where I can reach out to people who might not even know our company exists. It’s perfect for startups without a big name yet or even more established companies that might seem less exciting on paper. You get to connect with candidates directly, which is way better than going through the usual corporate HR hoops.

I love that you can filter by industry, so it's easy to find candidates who have already dealt with the same kind of problems we're facing. Plus, you can see what type of company stage they’re interested in, so you're not wasting anyone's time. The candidates are usually pretty quick to respond, and if they’re not, the team at Underdog.io is great at giving them a little nudge. The staff there are super helpful and genuinely nice.

What do you dislike about Underdog.io?

One thing that could improve the platform is the addition of more admin-style tools. Right now, you can star candidates that catch your eye and share them with colleagues, which is great. But it would be even more useful if there were annotation tools available, allowing you to write notes directly on a candidate’s profile. This way, you could easily remember what stood out about them without having to rely on memory or separate notes. It would make the hiring process even smoother and more efficient! Underdog.io makes finding great talent a lot easier. Instead of just waiting around for the right person to come to you, Underdog lets you take control and reach out to candidates you might never have known existed. It saves a ton of time and makes the whole process way more efficient.

The platform is super easy to use, so you can jump right in and start searching for candidates yourself, without waiting on an HR person to kick things off or filter through resumes. You get to see all the potential candidates firsthand, so you don’t have to rely on anyone else’s judgment.

It also integrates easily with a lot of ATS, which is a huge plus for keeping the hiring process smooth. And if you’re working with a team, Underdog makes it easy to share candidates back and forth, so you can quickly get everyone on the same page.
